Green Valley Hospital Receives Award
Green Valley Hospital received an award for “New Business of the Year” at last night’s Annual Chamber Business Dinner. Our community of colleagues recognize the exemplary service we provide to Green Valley and surrounding areas. Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to the success of Green Valley Hospital!
Reported by Hospital Liaison Christi Bermudez
We are very excited to announce we received our temporary approval from the FDA to perform mammography services! We have had many inquiries from the community as to when these services will be available at Green Valley Hospital, and we are happy to let everyone know they can now schedule their Screening and Diagnostic Mammography here. If you or your family member are in need of these services, you can take the following steps to have your exams performed here at the hospital:
1. Obtain a valid physician’s, physician’s assistant, or nurse practitioner’s order.
2. Call our scheduler, Marie Prettyman, at 520-393-4735 to schedule mammography.
3. IF POSSIBLE, obtain any prior imaging from previous imaging facilities. It speeds up the process of getting the mammograms interpreted by the physician.
